It’s been a long time since I’ve done a giveaway….and it’s about time that I change that!

When I first bought my iPad, I envisioned being able to travel without my laptop and instead carry the iPad tucked in my purse. Great idea, except I suck at typing on touch screens. I thought it was my Fat Bastard fingers, but realized that for me, typing is a tactile thing. I love the instant spring-back of keys and being able to feel where each key is.

Traveling with just my iPad, I became the master of efficient abbreviation. So much so that ppl cdnt undstd wt the heck I say’n.

So I ended up schleppin’ both my iPad and laptop with me during travels so at least I could sound sober in my blog and emails (forget Twitter, I always sound a little wacky with only 140 characters to express my thoughts)

A few weeks ago, my friend, James Andrews, was raving about his brand new tyPad bluetooth keyboard for his iPad (all these uPperLoWercaSe tRadEmarK stuff is making my head spin!) and I had to buy one. In fact, I think we were in line for Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney World when I saw his tweet and bought mine just as we were getting on the ride.

Check it out:

tyPad gave me 3 of these $129.95 tyPads to give away (sorry….iPad not included)

Yes 3 of them!

Just comment below, we’ll do the random number thingy on Sunday after I return from BlogHer Food, where I’ll be speaking with good friend Dani Spies, Indian As Apple Pie, Georgia Pelligrini, the very insanely talented Nadia G of Bitchin Kitchen (her show premiers on the Cooking Channel today!), and my secret lover, David Leite.

Comment once! My email subscribers get 2 entries (just comment twice) and a winner will be announced Sunday 10/10/10 at 10pm. And yes, of course my international friends, you’re included too
