Hope to win to hear him and I always learn and enjoy new (to me) topics. I’m very curious about “Bitters” among others. Thanks for such a diverse “menu” to choose from. And, thanks for the chance to win to attend !

As for which session I’m most excited about – it’s a toss-up b/w “How Food Trends” Translate to Cooking Shows” and the “Food Writing.” Food and cooking are what feed my soul and I’m all over every opportunity that could help me turn my passion into a profitable career. Thanks for the great post, Jaden. Love IACP and am a proud member of the Food Writers section!)

Also the Chili, Kolache, Cornbread, and Collards panel makes me smile because it is such a perfect summation of central Texas foods. The 3 lovely ladies on the panel are food historians who are sure to make it interesting.

Although I’m having a hard time picking the session I’m most excited about, the Cooking Over the Border session with Penny and Duc sounds incredibly interesting. Thank you so much for this generous giveaway.

I joined IACP in the early ’80’s,have attended more coferences than I can count, earned my CCP amongst the first groups to take the exam, participated on panals, and have enjoyed my membership to the utmost.Their are many rich and humoorous stories out their from some of the Senior members, and much wisdom!

WS02 and WS03 are on the forefront of my mine. I know it’s not a sexy answer but true. And even though I do already have a B.A. in Documentary Photography, my food photography is sorely lacking so I am searching out any and all education in this field.

BUT I think I might have a true moment of culinary bliss if I were to be able to attend WS11 with Diana Kennedy. She’s a long time hero of mine.

Cheers and all the best for the upcoming conference.
Melissa

Thanks!
