I’m finally hosting a Food Blog Forum in my home-state, Florida! I know, I know, it’s been long overdue. After our Atlanta event, blogger Julie of The Little Kitchen persuaded me to host one locally. And boy, was she ever so persistent! Well, I’m happy to announce Food Blog Forum Orlando, a 1-day food blogging seminar held at Rosen College on April 9, 2011.
Great news: We’ll also have a pre-party and post-party that’s included in the ticket price.
Not-so-great news: My best friends Diane and Todd of White on Rice Couple can’t make it. April is in the middle of their busy photography season and we just couldn’t have them ditch their business
But I do hope this stellar lineup will more than make up for their absence.
New on the agenda will be a session on Blog Design and Usability from one of the most talented web designers (and designer of SteamyKitchen.com) Lindsay Landis of Purr Design; the lovely and talented Helene DuJardin of Tartelette will teach food styling and photography.
What we didn’t have time for putting into the program is a writing session – hopefully in the near future we coordinate a writing and finding your voice seminar. [Though, in the meantime, if you can make it to IACP Austin in June, there are plenty of writing sessions....I'm even giving away a few tickets!]
