Coco has been with us for almost a month now….and I’m happy to report that’s she’s doing just fine and fitting into our family perfectly, especially the Chinese part of the family.

She ate the chicken feet first.

Oh you bet I was a proud Chinese mama. I went all Joy Luck Club on her and carried the chicken toy in my purse, boasting the Chinese-ness of my “daughter” to my friends.

As clever as she is, we’re still working on the messy smootches.

This post put a big grin on my face!

All that you have to do now is teach her how to use chopsticks.

BTW we have a part Korean dog….

Coco is Sooo CUTE! Children (especially boys) need a dog to grow up with. They will never forget Coco or her love.

So cute! And smart! Mine would have eaten the whole thing at one time….she’s just not as discriminating as Coco!

Coco is too cute! Izzy usually tackles the ears first. Probably trying to help it out as she’ll walk around the house just pushing the squeaker in her mouth until we get annoyed!

Do NOT hate on the sloppy puppy kisses ! They are THE best. Especially while they still have puppy breath. Sadly, that goes away far, far too soon…..

I have one that does the “chomp on the squeeker” thing, and one that seems to think “I love you” means “I chew your face off and pull out your stuffing….” I can always tell when a toy’s been sacrificed by the stuffed toy “guts” on the bed.

    Dogs rule.

A true “Chinese ” member of the family would remove their footwear before entering the house, does she?? πŸ˜‰

Dogs do rule. If that were my dog, my Mom would be proud too. πŸ™‚ Glad she is fitting right into the Hair family. I love seeing pictures of her! Dog kisses rule!

I am loving the smacky dog smooch! My nephew the Black Lab ~ Seamus ~ gives me those kisses and my brother & his wife grimace…. hey Seamus loves Auntie! Your Girl is soooo beautiful, imo. Thanks for the joy!

This post made me laugh out loud. The most Chinese part of this, of course, is that she left the chicken head for you to eat . . . out of respect for her elders.

COCO is beautiful, I love her white socks.
3 Boxers here– Mickey, his buddy Moose just passed on. We’re heartbroken. Went out and got 2 boxer puppies, Cotten and Candy. Cotten is all white, Candy is boxer brown. Love all the kisses.

Always loved your website, but now even more. As an Asian veterinarian who loves to cook, this is by far my favorite foody site. Thanks for the doggy post!

Why don’t I ever learn my lesson? Yes, I was drinking a glass of ice water while reading this post. (Yes, yes, I know…STUPID) Of course it made me laugh and snort water through my noes (an embarrassing thing that happens to me when I’m caught by surprise while drinking). I’ll forgive you this time, because it was kinda my fault (I should know better) and because I totally needed a laugh this morning.

Just came over to check on Coco, she is lovely, remembered you asking on Twitter, then adopting her, then she chewed your shoe, and you are a proud mama πŸ˜‰ I am in love with your Coco! What a cutie!
