THANK YOU!!!

I have been following for a long time. It’s great to follow along and see you go for your farming dreams. Your kids will love you for it!

Go online and search for “sweet potato starts” or “seed potatoes”. There are many many suppliers available. We were fortunate to get ours from a friend who was also growing sweet potatoes.

We did a post detailing the planting of the sweet potatoes here: Our Aquaponic Potatoes In A Barrel. We have not done any post yet on the aquaponics system yet. They are in the works and coming shortly.

Any suggestions?

I have to show hubby the sweet potato one. I just love them, and it’ll be great if we could grow our own. My grandma used to grow sweet potatoes too, and she used to say the same thing about yellow leaves. Although sometimes, she’ll harvest just the green leaves without taking out the root. She’ll fix it by saute it with some garlic. It tasted like greens to me, but what doesn’t taste good without some garlic 😉
