Good Bite and Quaker Instant Oatmeal is sponsoring a stir-a-thon! Okay, not really a stir-a-thon, but they definitely are kickin’ things up a notch by having 12 bloggers compete for a $10,000 prize! The money goes to a favorite charity, and I’ve chosen Heifer International as my charity of choice.
What I love about Heifer is that they don’t just hand out food, but rather they empower people to feed themselves and build a sustainable community. Gifts of goat, duck, water buffalo, chicken and cattle help create sustainable sources of food and income.
And when the mama cows give birth to baby calves….
…..the gift of the baby is passed onto another family or community.

Soooo…this is where you come in. Quaker’s program is called “Awaken Your Senses” and the winner gets $10,000 to give to their favorite charity. Each of us 12 bloggers told Chef Hottie David our favorite food memory. With that in mind, David then created a custom topping using Quaker Instant Oatmeal.
