Oinker

I’ve just experienced 3 of the most amazing days of my life, and I only have 4 photos to show for it….none of which even came from my camera.

Who in their right mind would go to BlogHer Food 2010 to see 250 of my best friends in the world and not bring a camera?

Well, apparently the same person who would wear a pig nose, the oinker on the left.

Could this possibly be the sexiest photo ever? Steamy Kitchen and The Pioneer Woman oink-kissing?

Or maybe this photo. Just as this photo was snapped, Elise grabbed Ree’s butt, Ree grabbed mine and that’s exactly how we got our party started. The Three Dorkateers.

More on the party Elise, Ree and I hosted a little later, after I scour the web for photos from the weekend.

Kisses ‘n Hugs,
Oinklicious Queen Dork.

Oh yes, P.S.

In the middle of some alleyway in San Francisco, I spy with my little eye something on the other side of this window. And because I’m only 5-foot-1-and-3/4″, Todd of White on Rice gave me a little boost. Savory Exposure thought he’d be smart and capture the incident. I have good friends like that.

Oh, are you wondering what was on the other side of the window?

You’d do the same too, right? RIGHT!!!!????

  4. This years’ blogher ’10 was my first blogging conference and I loved every minute of it. I came home with a whole bevy of new friends and pages and pages of notes taken during the workshops I attended, each of was which spectacular. Your workshop about branding was really enlightening. The whole thing was just amazing. And the final party!!!! Not only unbelievable because I was one of the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer winners (as if that weren’t enough), but the food was completely gluten free and fabulous! Kudos to every single person who made blogher ’10 an immensely successful event!

  8. You know how to throw a party! It was SO amazing to meet you finally!!! Next time you come to San Francisco, you better look me up so we can hang out!

And the pig nose. Fantastic. Be careful not to wear it around Ruhlman or you’ll end up as bacon…

Also that photo of you clambering up the window w/Todd is just great! LOVE IT! You know how to live life to it’s fullest!!!

  9. It was great to see you again and honey, you know how to throw some parties! The oinker noses, bacontinis, bacon ice cream, and everything in between was sheer perfection. But your laugh has me in stitches every time I see you.

  10. Does Diane know that Todd is your accomplice in your “peeping Tom” criminal activities?

Keep wearing a snout like that and you’ll end up in a smoker;)

  13. So, opening your blog today I was pretty sure you were going to have a full length post about that crazy girl at blogherfood (me)that was to weird to just come up and introduce herself and had to incessiently tweet about it and the eternal impact that had on your life. That you were feeling forever bonded to the self described dork and would, from this moment on, be talking about her and the sitation in depth.

You can imagine my surprise you when posted things that were actually interesting to other people. 😉

    Ha!

Love the exploration… wish I had made it further then from the hotel to an awaiting bus!

Thanks for all your hard work and panels.. you taught me lots!

    Blessings-

  21. That is freakin’ hilarious. I love Todd giving you that boost. Your 5’1″ & 3/4 trumps my “pushing” 5′! I would need an extra boost to get a peek at those goodies! I too took hardly any photos & need to scan those from your party & the very few others I took.
Thanks for hosting a great party & being a super cool YOU!

  23. This is hilarious! I think spying on food at every corner of our eyes is very much an obsessive foodie trait – I can certainly relate 🙂
And I can’t wait to hear more about this party – it’s fantastic to be able to share any form of celebration with an enormous group of like-minded people. One of the greatest joys of bloggers would probably be that you’re connecting with greedy people from all over the world. What could be better?
