This is our second year writing about Minted.com, an online retailer that specializes in cards, art, gifts for home designed by independent artists from around the world.  Even customized photo cards are special – the templates are thoughtfully designed by real artists, and each artist gets a small percentage of the sale.

Last year, we ordered a framed art print of one of Scott and my favorite spots on the California coast. I choose “reclaimed barnwood” as a frame. It’s a lovely reminder of a special moment in our relationship, a spot where we fell in love.
This year, we’ll buy another framed piece – this time we’ll choose 30 of our favorite photos from the year to commemorate into this beautiful heart-shaped piece. The frame I’ve fallen in love with is the Whitewashed Herringbone, made from sustainable mango wood.
