Wow – the BFLF app looks really cool. I’ve been drooling over the iPads since they were first released… so many cool applications! The only thing wrong witht winning would be dealing with the guilt of wanting to keep it for myself at Christmastime!!!

My favorite iPhone app is ….ShoppingList. It’s one of the first apps I ever bought when the original iphone came out 3 or 4 years ago. I still use it to this day.
What an awesome giveaway! For me, the ipad’s biggest advantage is how much I could use it in the kitchen. It seems like a great tool for pulling up new recipes, adding my own to online storage and sharing both with the people I love. I do have an iPhone though and one of my favorite apps is Shazam. If I’m listening to the radio (or watching a movie) and want to know what song is playing, Shazam is able to tell me. I don’t understand how it does it but it’s pretty cool.

I have an iPhone but I really want an iPad too. The most popular apps in our house are Pandora and Colorama. Definitely the most used, but I also really like the epicurious app and the How to Cook Anything app. Those have been lifesavers when in the grocery store without a plan for the week. Thanks, Jaden!

Fave app has to be Angry Birds. Keeps me, my husband, and child all happily occupied. And it’s easy to turn off at will.

My favorite iPhone app currently is Bluefire. It’s an eBook reader that accepts all formats. That way I can review galleys from publishers as well as read books from both Amazon and Barnes & Noble without having to switch applications. So Nice!

I think my favorite iPhone app is epicurious. I love using it to find new recipes & to re-create my favorites! It’s one of the best out there.

My favorite iPhone app is probably Lo-Mob, which is a really fun app for editing photos. I also love all the eReader apps, I have the Kindle app and the old B&N Reader, and the new Nook app, etc… I love always having my library with me.

One of my favorite iPhone apps is Walgreens because I can refill prescriptions and order photos while I’m in the school pick up line.
I got to play on an ipad and they are so cool!! You can do so much with them!
I have an ipod touch an my favorite apps are mainly to do with school
-dropbox: it allows you to sync a folder on your computer to any other computer you use and your iphone or ipad. it’s really my favorite app.
-evernote: i take notes on it in class and i can access it online at my house
-hootsuite: gotta stay connected to twitter
-2do: a pretty cheap, but great to do app
those are the apps I find most helpful. I use all of them daily.

And my favorite food-related app is probably the Whole Foods Recipe Finder, because I can plug in what ingredients I have on hand and let it make suggestions based on whatever dietary constraints my guests may bring to the table.

Our two older sisters have iphones and love them! One of them just got an ipad…and love it. Both are great for some many things. This would be a great gift!!! In terms of apps, my sister’s husband has a security app that is cool. He can tap into security cameras anywhere..almost scary though.
My husband has an Iphone. I steal it from the charger to secretly play games ALL the time and completely run down his power and then plug it back in and shrug and say nothing when he checks it and wonders why its taking so long to power back up. *wistful sigh* I heart all apple toys. Fun contest. 🙂

We are HUGE Apple fans. All our desktops, laptops are MACs, iphones, an IPAD would round out the ‘family’and be very cool. My fav app is HDR which helps with dark/light contrasts when taking photos. My iphone has changed my life in so many ways, the best is convenience of carrying just one device! No more camera as well. We even designed my business website using iweb, so easy even I can make revisions!

My GRANDMOTHER and my mother both have an iPad. Yes, Nana is that tech savvy. Except she tends to send me e-mails with lots of symbols and numbers inserted in random places. I’m so jealous; they are super easy to travel with and really fun to use. Since I’m in grad school, I’ve got no dinero to splurge on one myself, but if I could, I’d totally get it. It would be way easier to go to class with that little thing than my massive MacBook Pro. Plus, I would carry it around as a planner to track my workouts and meals.

I’d LOVE to have an Ipad. I use the apps…allrecipes, epicurious, whole foods, sparkrecipes, essentials, kitchen, shopper, grocery IQ.
I also recently purchased and downloaded the food network recipe manager to consolidate my favorite recipes and form shopping lists.
It would be awesome to use the Ipad in the kitchen to read and cook the recipes displayed!
On my iPhone, I could not live without UrbanSpoon and EPI (Epicurious) but also think the Jamie Oliver app is so beautiful and well done.

i travel a lot so being connected is essential, also finding last minute flights is a luxury too. i use liligo for iPhone a lot to look up flight times, search, etc. it’s a really great travel tool actually. but an iPad in the kitchen! how about in someone else’s kitchen while im travelling??

oh my goodness – my dad came for Thanksgiving with his new iPad. I knew I was going to be in trouble. I took it into the kitchen and it was so easy to cook with (meaning note taking, reading recipes etc). Makes me regret my laptop purchase of 6 months ago…

I’ve wanted an iPad in place of a traditional recipe holder since it was released. My beloved cookbooks are so bulky and difficult to prop up, and my laptop always gets dirty when I bring it to the kitchen for an online recipe. The iPad will let me continue my love of culinary arts, blended with the ease of technology. 🙂

I think getting kids involved in making meals is so important. It’s a chance for families to connect and I believe that kids will be less picky since they helped create the food. Kudos to Kraft for great app!
