At-Home Self-Care and Relaxation
Take a Luxurious Bath
Draw up a lavender bubble bath, pour a glass of wine, if you have a bath tray make a beautiful little charcuterie board and tap play on a relaxing playlist.
Another way you can set the mood for a relaxing bath is to fill the tub with warm water and eucalyptus bubble bath, light a few candles, do a face mask and enjoy reading a book while sipping on warm tea.
Last recommendation is for the guys: as you run the bath water, add a couple scoops of body relief epsom salt. Pour a drink of whisky, set a tablet up on a bath tray to enjoy your favorite show or sports highlights and invest in a scrubber to exfoliate your skin.
Order In
Kick off your shoes, wear your most comfortable pants and soft t-shirt and take the night off from cooking to enjoy a hot fresh meal brought right to your doorstep.
You can enjoy this meal with loved ones and have some conversation or flick on your newest TV show obsession and binge watch a few episodes without guilt!
Meditate
When I say meditate, I mean engage in an activity that makes you feel relaxed and focused. This could be gardening, cooking, crafting, exercising, etc.
Set aside time for yourself to enjoy that activity! Recognize the amount of stress that is released when you allow yourself to be completely present while doing something you love.
Enjoy a Sunrise or Sunset
Go outside in the beautiful weather and watch a sunrise or sunset. To watch the clouds in the sky fill or drain of all color is a beautiful moment that we don’t often take advantage of.
For one morning or afternoon, leave your phone, leave your camera and feel yourself be grounded in nature.

The things I do to express self-love are eating right, drinking water, exercising, buying myself a new perfume or outfit occasionally, and avoiding negative people.
I’m caught in a rut right now and when I get stressed, I realize walking, reading, and just doing one little thing can change my whole day for the better. I know I’m missing having my mom around and our daughter is on her own so when I volunteer or mentor at the school, it makes me feel happy.
I would go to the neighborhood spa, which also gives haircuts. I get so relaxed getting my hair washed, cut and styled.
I express myself with singing and being kind to everyone I meet cuz you never know how one smile at someone could change their day
I show love to myself by getting enough sleep, exercising at least twice a week, abstaining from alcohol and avoiding toxic people.
Hot bath.
I take time to do things I enjoy.
I spend time in prayer daily.
I get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water.
I express love by setting time aside for just me.
I have had surgery on my hands for trigger finger and they are still sore sometimes. I also have fibromyalgia so a hand massage would be awesome! I would also love the relaxation.
I’d get a massage.
Me personally, I express love to myself by pulling it.
I just quit smoking after a habit of over 40 years. It’s been 6 weeks and I show self love by giving myself permission to mourn the life I wanted to have.
I try to implement gratitude into my daily routine. Seems to help my stress and anxiety levels
My partner would love this, she love massages.
My cousin had a rough passing yesterday and I had to be the Rick for he children and grandchildren. I’m still processing the whole ordeal… haven’t dealt with it yet.
