Fun Finds on the Web

Some fun finds on the web….

This lady cracks me up:

She runs a blog called Titli’s Busy Kitchen – and is the only cook I’ve ever seen with an unusual technique in baklava making….dancing. (via Chow)

If you haven’t yet seen my lusty obsession over these Pale Ale Pretzel Caramels by Heather of  Sprinkle Bakes, I’ve got her recipe over at Steamy Kitchen on TLC. What more could you ask for….soft, chewy caramel flavored with pale ale topped with crunchy, crusty pretzels.

Just what I need….a cheat sheet apron!

Stir Fry Goddess, Grace Young has a new cookbook out called Stir-Frying to the Sky’s Edge: The Ultimate Guide to Mastery, with Authentic Recipes and Stories – here’s a recipe for her Kung Pao Chicken.

Do you know what this is? It’s edible! They pop in your mouth!

The only burger place I’ve ever been to with a cult following: In-N-Out Burger. Serious Eats has a recipe for their Double Double, Animal Style.

So totally not food related…but I must end with When Good Legos Go Bad…..they get tats. See all the Legos at Geekologie (including the girl Legostress with a tramp stamp! (via my friend Cookie Baker Lynn)

  4. I just love that cheat sheet apron… the amount of time I spend dashing out of the kitchen to frantically convert measurements and temperatures on the computer (yeah, I know, I *should* be able to use a pen and paper… and yet…) while in the midst of cooking something. Such a wonderful idea!
