It looks very much like “Vietnamese Beef Pho” or “Thai Boat Noodle”. It doesn’t look like Ramen to me.
I thought my days of ramen noodles were long over, but changing times call for resurrecting some old stand-bys, and this is just the reminder I need. Of course, there’s nothing like a bowl the size of a sink filled with fresh pho, but with a few of these modifications, I might just become addicted once again to instant ramen noodles.
Love noodles! I like mine with lots of green vegetables! Delicious! 🙂
Ah! This is great! Ramen is a staple that runs out frequently in my house too. I mean, it’s like $.10 a package! And it’s great for a hangover – not that I would know 😉
I LOVE RAMEN! We’re actually trying to cut down in our household, but like you said, it’s soooo good as a midnight snack or on cold winter days. I could definitely go for it now after seeing your gorgeous photo! And is that a bottle of sriracha I detect next to it? You speak my language if you love it extra, extra spicy!
Thank you for the Serious Eats link. Now time to go out and get another box of ramen. 🙂
Gotta love the ramen! 🙂 Have a fantastic week!!
