Can you ever go wrong with this one? Who doesn’t love a warm home cooked meal? If your friend is often times busy, help take the load off their shoulders one night and make them dinner. Bring it over and be sure to tell your friend just how much you appreciate them!
2. Favorite Restaurant
If you prefer to spend more intimate time with a friend, take them out to dinner at their favorite restaurant. Make sure to catch the bill before your friend and let them know this one is on you because of how much you appreciate all they do for you!
3. Care Package
Even if your friend lives far away or you don’t see each other very often, you can send them a care package packed with all of their favorite items. Think fuzzy socks, snacks, a scented candle or a book!
4. Say Thank You
Verbalize to your friend that you are grateful for them. Appreciation can make someone’s day. Your best friend deserves to hear from you what a great person they are.
5. Spend the Day Together
I don’t know about you, but I love authentic quality time with someone that I care about. Plan out a day to spend with your best friend and have fun together! Some best friend date ideas:
- Go shopping at the mall and then catch a movie
- Have lunch at a cafe and then spend the rest of the day at a museum
- Go to the dog park in the morning and then grab coffee and a couple puppuccinos
- Make dinner together and then wind down with watching your favorite show or listening to music after
- Plan a picnic at the park and bring the kids along for a play date
