Hello Steamy Kitchen family! We are very excited to be giving away a copy of the book, “Don’t Eat the Scraps” written by our dear friend, Jules Price.
This is my good friend Jules! We met over 12 years ago, in Sarasota Florida, through mutual friends. We bonded instantly through laughter – you could always tell if we were in the room together – my incessant, loud, howlin’, borderline-cackle laugh + her beautiful, hearty, from-the-belly, on-pitch laugh (she’s a Broadway singer!)
After I moved to Las Vegas, Jules and I lost touch for a few years, and one day, she popped up in my Facebook feed – it was a video of her in the gym, deadlifting 200 pounds!
I just so happened to be also doing weightlifting – and a few weeks later, I also joined the 200# club! Both Jules and I are tiny and petite and the same height at 5’0! It took both of us dedicated training with pros to be able to handle that kind of weight.
We popped on video chat one night — and it was as if no time had passed. That’s true friendship! Yup, we each still had our same laughs.
Jules sent me her second book, “Don’t Eat the Scraps,” a funny dating book — for women only — that details how men behave during the first 8 weeks of dating. I read that book in two nights.
Oooooh…*that’s* why I failed in dating!!!
What’s that behavior that men do?
Well, it’s a secret. Ya gotta read the book!
-Jaden

A little bit about Jules Price! Jules is a best-selling author of her first book Secrets From the SOC Drawer in addition to “Don’t Eat The Scraps“!
In addition to being an incredible author, Jules is a professional singer, having performed for 15 years nationally and internationally in musical theatre. She has toured all over the world, in all kinds of roles including “Maria” on the National Tour of The Sound of Music, throughout the U.S., Canada and Korea, and then understudying Marie Osmond in the role throughout Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
She is also a Corporate Trainer, top income earner in relationship marketing, voiceover artist and author. Jules is passionate about helping others to “listen to life” and achieve all the success they desire.
About “Don’t Eat The Scraps” Book
“Don’t Eat the Scraps” describes the crucial and (as of now!) unknown theory of dating in the first six to eight week period of a new relationship, when women everywhere find themselves scratching their head asking themselves the chin-quivering question, “Where did it all go wrong?”
In a light-hearted, provocative and hilarious way, Jules’ Rules lays out all the things that women need to know to navigate, step-by-step, the first months of any current relationship, armed with some of the soundest advice they’ll ever receive to overcome future hurdles (and scraps). It is your one-stop guide to navigating and thriving in the dating world… and have a few out-loud chuckles along the way

I know. Stuffed squash sounds like the kind of thing you’d politely poke at at a dinner party, secretly wishing it was pizza. But hear me out. My version is rich, earthy, and straight-up sexy, in a way that makes you think of cozy autumn sweaters and glasses of red...
Sure. Plain beige hummus is cute. But did you know you can make hummus... stunning? I bet you didn't. This Purple Sweet Potato & Ginger Hummus comes to the party in velvet purple and refuses to leave until everyone’s staring. It’s bold. It’s vibrant. It’s the kind...
Most people don’t wake up thinking, "Today’s the day I make a radish butter terrine." But let's face it: you’re not most people. If you're here, then you're probably the kind of person who looks at a tub of grocery store butter and thinks, "Cute, but I can do better."...
