  1. Thanks for the podcast! As I also was raised in Dayton, OH,(and because he is SO cute!) I have always loved Ming Tsai and have watched his TV appearances for years. Great interview, and you both have totally convinced me to try the duck breast recipe. Thanks again!

Ming was one of my inspirations in cooking school. I used to love his East meets West shows on the food network. I am sure that it was a great experience speaking to him. Did you happen to get his camera stats from him?

Thank you for the wonderful post!

  5. *sigh* I’ve crushed on Ming Tsai since watching him in East Meets West on the Food Network. Great interview Jaden! One question on the duck – he mentioned non-stick and all-clad type pans. Can I use my trusty cast iron?

  6. If you would have asked which “food blogger” that Ming Tsai has a crush on, he would have been screaming “Steamy Kitchen, she is a gorgeous goddess,” at the top of his lungs! And he would have said my name, as a runner-up.

I almost didn’t recognize him with the longer hair. Frankly, I think he needs a hair cut in that picture. I’m not lovin’ it so much. However, that being said, he’s still a hottie…and he’s a fabulous chef!

  12. I’m not afraid to say it, but I’ve always had a crush on Ming. I’m actually waiting for Simply Ming to show up on the tv in a few minutes. Is it me, or does Ming’s hairstyle seem to change every week?

The interview was great Jayden, I’m definitely more inclined now to check out his new Master Recipes book.
