Steamy (Test) Kitchen is what Steamy Kitchen became when I stopped trying to fit it into a box.

For a long time, this space was about food. And food mattered. But as my life changed, I became less interested in perfect recipes and more interested in true nourishment. How the body actually responds when things are out of balance. What helps. What we’re taught to ignore. What we feel when we finally stop ignoring it.

It manifested from lived experience and learning the hard way that you can’t outsource your health forever and expect to feel whole.

I call it Health Without Permission.

It’s not a rejection of doctors or science, but a refusal to disconnect from your own experience. It’s the idea that you’re allowed to be involved in your health and trust what your body is telling you.

Steamy (Test) Kitchen is my love letter to wellness, plant medicine, and the body’s ability to recover. A place to write from experience instead of theory. A living record of curiosity, healing, and figuring things out as I go.
