What are your plans for 4th of July?

We’re heading over to my brother’s house, about 15 minutes away. He’s hosting a family BBQ, and lives in Las Vegas downtown, right in the middle of crazy everything. We’re hoping that we can spy fireworks on the Strip from his backyard.

My favorite “fireworks” are still the bang snaps that you throw on the ground. I just did a bit of research for them this morning – did you know it’s made from cigarette papers, gravel and silver fulminate? It’s the cheapest fun ever…less than $1 a box!
