#1: Make an Easy Breakfast Hash with Leftover Ham

Who doesn’t love breakfast? It is the best and most satisfying meal of the day! What we love about a hash is that you can use up anything you have in your fridge. Potatoes, tomatoes, wilted greens and herbs, and of course any leftover protein!

Roast or sear off your veggies then toss your chopped up ham in. Crack a few eggs right on top and place a lid on to finish cooking the eggs. We suggest topping with shredded cheese, salsa, and avocado! Check out some of our favorite brisket Breakfast Hash recipes below:

#2: Make a Hearty Chowder with Leftover Ham

Leftover chopped or diced ham holds up super well in stovetop and crockpot soups or stews. It pairs unbelievably well with white and sweet potatoes, red bell peppers, any leftover veggies you have hanging out in your fridge and some of our favorite pantry staples like canned corn and beans!

We love a hearty soup in the winter, so we enjoy pairing our leftover ham with a cream or potato based soup, but if that’s not your thing, split pea soup is awesome for leftover ham as well! Hearty chowder will be sure to warm your belly up from the inside out! Check out some of our favorite Ham Chowder recipes below:

#3: Make an Epic Elevated Ham Sandwich

There is nothing better than a sandwich. They are the most satisfying food you could ever eat. Crusty bread slathered with a great sauce topped with salty meats and cheeses and all the fixings, forget about it! For leftover ham we love a pressed sandwich, all nice and warmed up.

Keep it fresh with leftover greens, and some pickles, pickled peppers or onions for a nice sweet and tart kick. You can replace the deli meat in any of your favorite sandwiches with your leftover ham or add it to your veggie sandwiches for some protein to really level up your leftovers. Check out some of our favorite sandwich recipes to use up that ham:

You can also use leftover ham in place of the protein in any of these Steamy Kitchen recipes; Buddha Bowl with Pineapple Teriyaki Dressing, Ricotta Crostini with Honey, or add it to this Japchae
