We are so excited to launch our very first GAME here on Steamy Kitchen!
What better way to test out our memory with a fun matching game. I know my memory isn’t as, let’s say.. sharp.. as it used to be! So any practice with my memory the better, can you relate?!
Below you will find the rules of the memory game as well as our first collection of some of my favorite photos! These include myself, my family, the dogs (of course) and images of some of our favorite recipes.
If you see a recipe photo that catches your eye, we’ve added all recipe links below for you to check out and possibly make for yourself after working up an appetite entering giveaways and matching cards!
Please note that this is for fun purposes and we are testing it as well! If you have any comments, suggestions, improvements, OR future games that you would love to see, let us know if the comments below! Happy Matching!
How to play:
- Select one of the face down cards by clicking on it.
- Select a second face down card, attempting to find a match to the first card.
- If the cards match, both will remain face up. Otherwise, the cards will turn face down again.
- Repeat until all cards are face up.

it took me awhile, but I enjoy this type of game.

I enjoyed you match game. There were enough cards to make a nice challenge but not so many as to make it real difficult. My suggestions for other games would be simple jigsaw puzzles, a Keno type game or a scavenger hunt type game.
