Ive been trying to win a laptop for 3 years over several contest sites. no lucj yet but i cant give up cuz my son lost everything in n a house fire 3 days before christmas and lost everything he owned and he lost all the gifts for the family . so ive been trynig to get some thing back to him that he lost cuz he didnt have insurance and the landlady was letting drunk renters fix electrical problems. but its not in my sons nature to sue ppl so he lost a lot and is having a hard time getting back on his feet. then covid came and no jobs so its been hard and everyone needs a break now and then. a helping hand up in any way helps a lot when youve lost everything including your gifts for family at christmas. all he had left was he came outside in his boxers a boot and one shoe. he needs and deserves a hand up and since yesterday was mothers day it drives me more to be the mom of the decade and get him a laptop at least so he can find a job and make a resume. i have an old havey desk top computer with the big heavy tower. its not even able to look at notifictions on yourtube cuz it lags my computer out and entering contests on this site lags me out of all the advertisments but i have to at least give iet my all. i havae to give it 100% of my heart & soul to try to give my son a helping hand back up again. as a mother we all want to see our children happyanad this fine young man some help that i canta afford so i will keep trying to win it for him until i am successful.

This is not for pity, but I am a single mother on disability. I live with my parents and my daughter is starting the special needs Pre-K. All my money goes to her, she is a lucky girl, I got her a fire fox, I want to go back to school. My laptop is about 15 years old. I work full time as a writer. My laptop screen has three large black spots on it – which means I need a new screen. Also, one of the hinges is broken, meaning I cannot close my laptop. I am saving to purchase a new laptop, but the process is slow. We had to pay $600 a month for oil in March, April and May over our usual cost due to the fact that it stayed colder for longer this year than it had previously. So, with the savings tapped out, we are starting again on the saving for a laptop.

Thank you for holding this sweepstakes! I will give this to my 73 year old mother who suffers from arthritis and has a hard time with her old laptop which is quite old, heavy, and slow. Since my dad passed away some years back, my mom has been learning to use the internet for her education and for video chatting with her brothers and sisters overseas. My mom was only allowed to finish grade 5 as a kid and has always regretted not getting more of an education so I’ve taught her how to google things and research stuff she’s interested in. I searched and now I’m writing I should.
I learnt motion designing awhile back, to course was a gift, and I didn’t want to waste it. All but me had a working system, I had to borrow one during the period of the course, the thought of not having a system after the course would eventually end often drained my vibes, notwithstanding I stood out in the academy, I’m done.
My productivity is top notched but it’s limited in quantity of services supplied, due to the fact that I postpone or delay services rendered because the system I use isn’t mine.
I can’t decide how long I’ll be able to work with it. A phone call from the owner and I’m at his doorstep returning it.
I’m good at my job, I just need to get the luck, so I’ll be happy with my job.
It’s not easy to afford a system or even get people who would gift you a system that would work with the softwares I use, like Adobe after effects, blender and cinema 4D.
I need this system to be content with my honest labour and push to the top of motion designers in the online community.
I’m glad this platform exists, I hope to be lucky at my first shot.

I’m using a borrowed laptop, which I may have to return soon, so winning one of my own would be a “heaven-sent” treasure! I use it to keep up with email, keep my mind agile by playing games and doing puzzles, reading up on the latest developments in the sciences and current events, signing petitions for good causes, etc. I would be somewhat lost without a computer to use each day.
I had an Asus once before and it was nice. Now I have an old, needs-to-be-replaced computer. Another Asus would be great.
About half my keyboard doesn’t work om my 13 inch laptop. I use a seperate keyboard plugged into a usb port for functions like space bar, back space, and several others to type. If any more problems turn up, it’s junk.

The laptop I amusing now came with a printed manual. It has been a long time since computer manufacturers supplied printed manuals with their products. The printed manual for the computer I am using now has a Copyright date of 2012.
I have upgraded memory and hard drive over the years, but is now falling apart and not suitable for travelling.
Asus produces quality products and I would expect this laptop to last as long as longer as the one I am using and be light weight which would fit my travel computing needs for years to come.
Since the advent of Q codes, I have had no way of displaying them for discounts of vaccination status. This would be handy for that reason alone.

This laptop would be for my daughter well il claim her as mine since I have raised her for 8 years I was with her dad for 7 years he passed away in 2020 her biological mother also passed away in 2017 so I am all she has I do the best I can at the moment we share a laptop and she uses it once a week for a few hours to have a meeting with her therapist via zoom and does several activities on it to help her cope with the loss of both parents. I use the laptop for work so having another laptop in the house would make it easier in me and I would have to schedule the therapist at certain times because I am working. I have seemed to have a dark cloud over me and maybe this laptop would be the turning point to good luck. I guess we will see, either way that you for the opportunity.

When he had one it was a connection for him to his boys, his fellow Marines he served with in Iraq. He does have a phone but its hard for him to use it like he did the laptop.
