Two of the most important tools in my business is Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. We’ve done a tutorial on how we use Lightroom in our everyday workflow. While there are free tools out there to accomplish photo editing, we would not be able to manage the nearly 100,000 photos in our hard drives without Lightroom!
Photoshop used to be a tool for professional photographers and creatives, but in the digital age, it’s popularity has evolved into an indispensable tool for bloggers, students, parents and even my 6th grader. Andrew is in a tech and design program at school, and by the time he graduates middle school, he will be a certified Photoshop professional. Their class is already using it for everyday design for presentations, reports and websites.
The Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Membership gives you access to both Lightroom and Photoshop, and priced at less than $10 per month.
Adobe is celebrating 25 years of Photoshop and to commemorate this milestone, Photoshop is profiling 25 of the most creative visual artists under the age of 25 on their new Instagram feed (@photoshop). In the coming months, the selected artists will be taking over Photoshop’s Instagram account for 2 weeks at a time so they can showcase their work for the world to see.
The first of the 25 artists is Fredy Santiago, a 24-year old Mexican-American artist and illustrator based in Ventura, California, has already started showcasing his work on Photoshop’s Instagram account.
