Zoku Slush & Shake Maker Review & Giveaway

This little gadget has changed the way my kids are choosing sweets and treats. Both boys love slushies, smoothies and boba teas. When the kids want sugary stuff, we make them cook it themselves from scratch. You want cookies? Here’s the flour and sugar!

We don’t make smoothies or slushies at home, because it’s a lot more work than the boys are willing to put in. Washing and slicing the fruit, getting ice, lugging out the heavy Vitamix, and then washing everything up. All for a treat that only lasts them 15 minutes! (they claim making cookies are different, at least the batch of 24 cookies will last them several days.)

With the Zoku Slush and Shake Maker, it’s one-step. Pour in juice and stir. A few minutes later, you get a slushy.

We’re using no-sugar added orange juice, apple juice, cranberry mango juice. Sure, you can add other sugary drinks, even soda for a cola-slushy (don’t tell the boys that – they think the Zoku is just for fresh juices).

We also got a copy of Zoku’s Slushy Book, with recipes for all types of treats. You can even add in milk to the Zoku Slush & Shake maker and create milkshakes.

Oh, you can also put in a splash of booze for adult drinks too.

It’s inexpensive, less than $20 for the Zoku (the red one is $15.99).
