Martha Stewart products are always so elegant – simple enough for everyday use, and beautifully designed and detailed for entertaining. The newest items in the collection are cake stands, cake knife and server and displays.
We are in love with the Jadeite Cake Stand. The translucent, dreamy green jadeite color is near and dear to my heart. I have an entire collection of antique jadeite dinnerware. While the Martha Stewart version isn’t antique, the color is spot-on and matches my dishes perfectly. I love a little nostalgia in kitchen pieces!
The cake stands can come with a sturdy glass dome, to keep the pastries from drying out.
Another new product is a cookbook: Martha Stewart’s Vegetables. I’m about halfway through reading this book, and have already bookmarked 13 recipes that are must-try.
The book isn’t made for vegetarians, but rather, vegetable lovers. There are vegetables as main courses, but also as supporting cast to healthy meat and seafood dishes.
Vegetables is divided into types of vegetables (I’m giving you a couple of examples per category):
Bulbs (garlic, shallots, green onions)
Roots (beets, carrots, tunips)
Tubers (potatoes, sweet potatoes)
Greens (bok choy, chard)
Stalks/Stems (asparagus, celery, rhubarb)
Pods (edamame, green beans, okra)
Shoots (microgreens, sprouts, fiddlehead ferns)
Leaves (lettuces, cabbage)
Flowers/Buds (artichokes, broccoli, brussel sprouts)
Fruits (avocado, cucumber, peppers)
